Rittal TS8 Floor Standing Enclosures

Rittal's TS8 system represents an exciting new generation of enclosures. Building on 15 years of accumulated expertise from the PS 4000 enclosures, the TS8 was designed to be more flexible, and more versatile. The symmetrical frame allows enclosures to be bayed side by side, one in front of another, in a corner, in U or T arrangements and all without the need for an expensive intermediate frame.

The new frame design features a 15% reduction in frame weight with a 30% higher stability level when compared to the PS. The new frame profile design also provides two levels for installed equipment. The door system includes a four-point locking system and the door can be easily rotated so the door can be hinged from the left or right.

The TS8 also provides as standard equipotential bonding of the enclosure rear wall, sidewalls, roof and gland plates through the use of uniquely developed hardware that provides equipotential bonding to the frame. The TS8 is also entirely backward compatible with PS 4000 series accessories.
